GEORGE is a soap with one idea: that the best thing you can do for your skin is often less — fewer ingredients, gentler cleansing, and an oil the Mediterranean has trusted for millennia.
It started in the grove
Around the Mediterranean, olive oil soap isn't a trend — it's a household staple older than most cities. Marseille, Aleppo, Crete, Nablus: every olive-growing coast arrived at the same conclusion. Saponified olive oil makes a bar that is mild, moisturizing, and honest.
GEORGE brings that tradition to your sink without reinvention. We simply refused to cut it with cheap fillers. The first ingredient is extra virgin olive oil — the same grade you'd pour over tomatoes — because the quality of the oil is the quality of the bar.
Made slowly, on purpose
Every batch is cold-processed — the method that preserves olive oil's natural antioxidants and keeps all of the glycerin that forms during saponification in the bar, where your skin wants it.
Then we wait. Each bar cures for weeks, losing water and gaining hardness, until it's mild enough for facial skin and dense enough to last. You can't rush it, so we don't.
