Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Olive oil soap is among the gentlest soaps there is — it's the traditional recipe for babies and reactive skin. Ours contains no synthetic fragrance, colourants or palm oil — the scent is lavender oil alone. As with anything new, patch-test if your skin is very reactive.
What does it smell like?
Lavender — soft, calm and clean, over the faint green note of the olive oil itself. It comes from lavender oil alone, no synthetic fragrance. If you like your bathroom to smell of soap operas, this is not that bar.
How long does one bar last?
Kept on a dry dish between uses, a 120 g bar lasts most people one to two months of daily hand and body washing. The six-week cure makes it noticeably harder and slower to wear than fresh-made soap.
Can I use it on my face? My hair?
Face, yes — it cleanses without stripping. Hair is personal: classic olive soap works for some as an occasional shampoo bar, though we make no promises about curls.
Why does the lather feel different from supermarket soap?
Olive oil gives a low, creamy lather rather than big airy foam. Foam is theatre; the cream is what cleans. Give it a week and most people never go back.
Where do you ship?
Across the United States, plastic-free, dispatched within two working days. Standard delivery takes 2–3 days, express is next-day in most cities.
What if it doesn't suit me?
Write to us within 60 days and we'll refund or replace, no ceremony. We'd rather you told us than kept a bar you don't love.
